Advancing AI Workforce Development on Capitol Hill

by June 25th, 2025

The month of May marked an inspiring milestone for Enployable AI as we joined key conversations on Capitol Hill focused on the future of workforce development and the transformative role of artificial intelligence.

The visit began with a dynamic lunch with OpenAI, setting the stage for a series of insightful meetings about how AI can support upskilling initiatives and foster innovation across industries. From bridging the skills gap to building more inclusive talent pipelines, the conversations were rich with potential and purpose.

Laura Truncellito, Enployable AI’s Founder, had the honor of meeting with Representative Don Beyer’s office—her home district representative—to discuss how AI can be used to support federal employees in career transitions. By identifying and leveraging transferable skills, we aim to help workers navigate change with confidence and clarity.

She also met with the office of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. That conversation highlighted the critical need for collaboration between the private and public sectors to create a future-ready workforce. We’re encouraged by the interest in building partnerships that support this shared goal.

These discussions reflect a pivotal moment for workforce development—and we’re proud to be at the table. As we continue to shape the role of ethical, human-centered AI in hiring and upskilling, we’re energized by the possibilities ahead.

Stay tuned for more updates as we build on this momentum and deepen our commitment to helping people and organizations thrive in the age of AI.
